Where is the best place to snowboard near north central iowa?

I live in north central Iowa and me and my fiance want to go snowboarding. We've both been to resorts in Colorado multiple times. I know we won't find anything that big, but what's the best place with some decent runs? I have heard of a few in southern Minnesota, and have heard about a few places in Iowa. Are they worth it for a intermediate snowboarder?
