Anyone know how to fix a problem with Xpadder?

I'm using MotioninJoy Gamepad controller to use my DualShock3 controller on my pc. To set up the controller to use with Brink, I used xpadder. Everything set up fine, but when I started playing I realized the X key I igned to the L2 trigger wasn't working. I went back into xpadder and noticed the L2 trigger was highlighted like it was being pressed down, even though it wasn't. Does anyone know how to fix this?
