Do you think the 2003 Iraq war was fought for oil or for the appeasement of Israel?

Israel looked at Iraq under Saddam as an enemy and got especially concerned about Iraq in the 70's when France agreed to provide Saddam with a N Reactor. In the Gulf war of 91, when the US came out for the defense of Kuwait, Israel enthusiastically supported the US, not just because they wanted Iraqi forces out of Kuwait but wanted to topple Saddam but that didn't happen at that time. Later on, before the start of the 03 war, we heard alot of prominent Israeli leaders such as Shimon Perez say that "Saddam is as dangerous as bin Laden" and Netanyahu said "Today nothing less than dismantling Saddam's regime will do." With such statements we know what the Israeli's wanted and since everyone know about their influence in Washington, I think it is Israel that made the US invade Iraq but no one ever talks about this and If you ask anyone what they think the reason for the Invasion of Iraq was, their answer would be 'oil'. So why is that? And what is your answer to the original question anyway?
