Life in and around Memphis?

I keep hearing that song, Walking in Memphis. I'm thinking of relocating and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some insight into life in or around Memphis. I live in Wisconsin and the arrogance/elitism factor has gone up so much here because everyone is living off the socialist-styled government and pretending like they're somethin' else. Well, they're somethin' else, alright. Is there really a place called "The Hollywood"? Does Muriel still sing there? Shall I acquire some blue suede shoes or may I enter without them? I have an ociate's degree in electronics, an amazing work ethic and experience in FOH/BOH and cooking in retsaurants. I play some guitar and can sing on key. Please help, if I don't hear from you, I'm going To Kansas City"-...naturally. (Or maybe Abilene...)
