Muslims please: In the Cow, verse 29 refers to 7 heavens. Can you explain this?

I'm Catholic and reading the Koran to learn more about Islam, and I know in Catholicism it speaks of levels or houses in Heaven. I'm curious about 7 heavens in the Koran. Thank you.
